What this website collects

Not much. The website has no accounts, no forms and no checkout, and it doesn't set cookies or use advertising or tracking tools.

Our Name Sign Designer remembers the last name and options you tried, so they're still there next time. That's saved only in your own browser, using its local storage, and it's never sent to us.

Services we use

• Hosting. The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. Cloudflare's privacy policy
• Fonts. Our typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser sends Google its IP address when it fetches them. Google's privacy policy
• Etsy rating. The star rating on our pages comes from Etsy's API. Our own server fetches it, so your browser doesn't contact Etsy for it, and no personal information is involved.

Buying through Etsy

When you click a Buy on Etsy button, you leave this website for Etsy. Anything you do there, including placing an order, is covered by Etsy's privacy policy. Our links let Etsy know the visit came from us. When you order, Etsy shares the details we need to make and post it, such as your name, address and personalisation, and we use them only for that purpose.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email us and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes

If we add anything new to the website, such as an email newsletter or visitor statistics, we'll update this notice first and change the date at the top.
